About the FIlm

Errante is a documentary series that traces the path of Latinamerican artists who have found in Paris a starting point, not a destination. As nomads of creativity, they move between two worlds: the one they left behind and the one they are building, redefining their identity through art. In the City of Light, where history and avant-garde intersect, these creators carve out their own space, facing the challenge of making themselves visible in a scene that does not always await them.

Each episode portrays an artist in their journey, exploring not only their discipline—art, cuisine, music, or design—but also the silences and struggles that sustain their work. Through an intimate and contemplative lens, Errante delves into their creative process, capturing the tension between memory and reinvention, between rootedness and the need to keep moving forward.

More than an individual portrait, Errante is a collective testimony of the Latinamerican creative diaspora in France. The series celebrates the community these artists have built far from home, the resilience that drives them, and the way they reshape notions of beauty and tradition in a metropolis with its own established standards.
